Intern – Formulation R&D at Par Health in Webster Groves, MO

Summary: Par Health is a company dedicated to improving lives through healthcare. They are seeking a highly motivated intern to support their Solid Oral Dosage Forms R&D Department, contributing to research activities and gaining practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities: - Support formulation team in literature search and review scientific articles - Support formulation development process by executing wet laboratory experiments under the guidance of a mentor or senior laboratory member - Acquire skills in collecting and recording data, both manual and computer-generated, in accordance with protocols, and SOPs - Analyze and interpret data generated from testing and characterization to create summary reports - Learn and adhere to safety protocols for handling materials - Maintain a clean and safe work environment - Perform other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program related to (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences, Biology, Biological Science) - Proficiency in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams - Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn Required Skills: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biological Science Important Skills: Basic computer skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Proactive attitude, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Team collaboration
