Job Description
Summary: PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is a premier outside electrical infrastructure construction company based in Kansas City, Missouri. They are seeking a Project Manager I for their Drilling Division to assist in the planning, scheduling, and management of drilling and foundation projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion while supporting field operations and maintaining project documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and managing drilling and foundation construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Coordinate field operations, materials, and subcontractors to maintain project flow and efficiency
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to ensure projects meet financial targets
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, RFIs, change orders, and client correspondence
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with PAR’s safety standards
- Collaborate with field supervision to address operational challenges and implement solutions
- Communicate effectively with bilingual field teams to ensure clarity in project expectations and safety protocols
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal departments
- Promote PAR Electric’s culture of Safety, Integrity, Quality, and Service across all project activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or field operations, ideally within drilling, foundations, or utility construction
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control principles
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with both field and office personnel
