Summary: Palomar Health is a healthcare organization seeking an IT Intern to train closely with experienced IT professionals. The intern will gain hands-on experience in IT systems and Cloud infrastructure operations, assisting with various technical support tasks. Responsibilities: - Assist with building servers, installing software, configuring and maintaining system devices, and providing technical support to peers and hospital staff - Support cybersecurity activities, validating and documenting processes and procedures, and participating in training and professional development opportunities - Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in a 2-year college with a Computer Science related major - Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel - Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position - Knowledge of and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail) Preferred Qualifications: - Enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college or university with a Computer Science related major - Understanding computer components and network concepts is a plus Required Skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Computer components, Network concepts
