Box Printer - 2nd shift at OWS Foods in Concordia, MO

Description

This position requires creative and innovative thinking, knowledge of packaging material, date code requirements, computer systems and related mechanical understanding of machine operation.

This opening is for a 2nd shift - 10 hour schedule working 3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday thru Thursday

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Prepare machine for startup and shutdown procedures on a daily basis, follow production schedule, and perform operator adjustments, quality checks, and repairs to machine as needed.
• Determine packaging material requirements for specific scheduled jobs, maintain logs for downtime, and complete all required paperwork.
• Adhere to QA processes and procedures related to Food Defense, HACCP, and Allergens, as well as all safety training and requirements to ensure all related policies and procedures are followed.
• Will need to operate forklift for materials.
• Work with numerous computer programs.

Requirements

Minimum:

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent required
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Google products and various other programs
• Ability to work alone or as a member of a team, good cooperative skills and may require flexibility in scheduling

Preferred:

• Above average mechanical skills
• Forklift experience (sit down/stand-up)
• Detail oriented and a quick learner with the ability to work within deadlines
• 2+ years operational experience in a food manufacturing environment
