Profile Requirements:

• Min 2.5 Years of Proven Experience in Mobile Application Development, Full-Stack Development, Software Engineering, or a similar role
• Proven experience developing and launching production mobile applications
• Experience building applications for both iOS and Android
• Experience developing applications with thousands of users or designing scalable application architecture
• Experience with Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or similar mobile development technologies
• Strong backend development experience with technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and application architecture
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Firebase, or similar cloud platforms
• Experience integrating GPS, maps, geolocation, and real-time location functionality
• Experience with real-time databases, notifications, messaging, and user status updates
• Experience integrating payment processors such as Stripe or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of database design and management
• Experience developing administrative dashboards and backend management systems
• Strong knowledge of application security, authentication, user permissions, and data protection
• Experience submitting and maintaining applications within the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Git and version-control systems
• Ability to independently take an application from concept through development and launch
• Experience building ride-sharing, delivery, marketplace, logistics, transportation, or on-demand service applications is highly preferred
• Familiarity with AI APIs, automation tools, and AI-assisted application development is a plus

Core responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, launch, and maintain a scalable mobile application for iOS and Android
• Build the application architecture to reliably support up to 10,000 users
• Develop an intuitive and responsive user experience for both customers and service providers
• Build separate user experiences, permissions, and functionality based on account type
• Develop secure user registration, login, profile management, and account verification
• Create an Uber-style system for connecting customers with available service providers
• Develop real-time service requests, acceptance, assignment, and status updates
• Implement GPS, mapping, location tracking, and location-based matching functionality
• Develop algorithms and logic for matching users with nearby available providers
• Integrate mapping and navigation services such as Google Maps or Apple Maps
• Build real-time notifications, push notifications, alerts, and in-app messaging
• Develop booking, scheduling, cancellation, and rescheduling functionality
• Integrate secure payment processing and transaction capabilities when required
• Build ratings, reviews, and customer feedback functionality
• Develop dashboards for users, service providers, and administrators
• Build an administrative backend for managing users, providers, transactions, requests, disputes, and platform activity
• Develop APIs and backend services required to power the application
• Design and maintain scalable databases for users, activity, transactions, locations, and application data
• Build secure cloud infrastructure capable of scaling as the number of users increases
• Monitor application performance and optimize speed, reliability, and response times
• Implement appropriate data security, authentication, permissions, encryption, and privacy controls
• Develop safeguards against fraudulent accounts, unauthorized access, and application abuse
• Integrate third-party APIs and software platforms when needed
• Build analytics and reporting capabilities to monitor user activity and platform performance
• Identify and resolve application bugs, crashes, broken functionality, and performance issues
• Conduct functional, usability, security, and performance testing before releases
• Perform load and scalability testing to ensure the platform can handle expected user volume
• Maintain clean, organized, scalable, and well-documented code
• Manage source code and version control through GitHub, GitLab, or similar platforms
• Prepare and publish applications through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Manage application updates, releases, version changes, and ongoing maintenance
• Monitor application crashes, errors, API performance, and server health after launch
• Work with leadership to translate business ideas into technical features and functionality
• Recommend the appropriate technology stack, architecture, integrations, and development approach
• Create technical documentation for application architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, and processes
• Continuously improve the platform based on user feedback, analytics, and changing business requirements
• Implement AI-powered features and automations when appropriate
• Perform additional application development and technology responsibilities as assigned
