Summary: Ourisman Automotive Group is a forward-thinking automotive dealership focused on putting guests first and improving the vehicle-buying experience. The Automotive Sales Associate will assist customers with vehicle purchases, provide product information, guide them through the sales process, follow up on leads, and support dealership sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and providing information about vehicles and services
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the dealership's vehicle inventory, including features, specifications, and pricing, to effectively answer customer questions and make recommendations
- Guide customers through the sales process, from vehicle selection and test drives to financing and closing the sale
- Follow up with potential customers and leads to nurture relationships and encourage sales
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales performance of the dealership
- Prepare and process sales contracts, financing applications, and other required documentation accurately and efficiently
- Assist in maintaining the appearance and organization of the showroom and lot, ensuring vehicles are clean and properly displayed
- Address and resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive buying experience
- Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a willingness to learn and apply new skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with dealership management software is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
