The Head of Operational Excellence (OPEX) leads the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

This position works closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, establish sustainable processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The role supports the organization in the application of Lean principles, problem-solving methodologies, performance management, and operational excellence standards.

The Head of OPEX also coaches and develops employees and leaders in continuous improvement tools and methodologies, ensuring that improvement initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable and sustainable results.

• Lead and coordinate the Operational Excellence strategy and continuous improvement activities.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement improvement opportunities across plant processes.
• Drive Lean methodologies, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement standards.
• Lead and facilitate improvement workshops, projects, and Kaizen activities.
• Coach and develop leaders and employees in Operational Excellence methodologies and tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify actions to improve operational performance.
• Support productivity, cost reduction, quality, and process optimization initiatives.
• Promote standardization and sustainable implementation of best practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, and other functions.
• Support change management and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Track improvement projects and ensure achievement of defined targets and business results.
• Share and implement best practices across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or similar functions.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience leading improvement projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and work effectively with different organizational levels.
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on sustainable improvements.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
