Job Description
Summary: Oracle is a leading company in AI and cloud solutions, and they are seeking an OCI Sustainability Intern to support their Global Sustainability team. The intern will conduct research and analysis on carbon removal technologies, perform data analysis, and collaborate across teams to promote sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on carbon removal technologies and carbon credit markets to inform climate strategy
- Perform data analysis, benchmarking, and modeling using tools such as Excel, Python, or Tableau
- Develop clear presentations and materials to communicate findings to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate across teams to support sustainability initiatives and climate reporting
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
- Academic focus in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, data science, economics, or a related field
- Experience with the following: Greenhouse Gas Accounting (GHG Protocol, Scopes 1, 2, and 3)
- Experience with data analysis and tools such as Excel, Python, R, or Tableau
- Understanding or experience in Life Cycle Assessment (product level carbon foot printing and product lifecycle modeling)
- Experience with Carbon Removal Technologies, offset credits, mapping, evaluating, enhancing supply chain sustainability metrics
- Experience with Market Research and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S
