Job Description
Summary: Oracle is a company that brings together data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power industry innovations. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will support the development and delivery of programs that drive operational efficiency and compliance throughout the organization, contributing to financial and strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams across Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing
- Collect, input, and verify data to support measurement and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) against business objectives
- Assist in preparing management updates on budget performance, highlighting deviations and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Support the assessment of economic impact and compliance concerns related to key business decisions
- Help communicate Oracle Business Practices and monitor processes for compliance and proper approvals
- Contribute to the implementation of new processes and procedures as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a university prior to and post internship
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collect, organize, and present data using spreadsheets and visualization tools
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and team members
- Ability to effectively seek information, correct data errors, and follow through on tasks
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Oracle technologies, solutions, or services is a plus
- Interest in or exposure to machine learning technologies and Generative AI tools
- Relationship management and customer service mindset desired
