Summary: Ontic is a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defense industries, and they are now recruiting for their 2026 Internship Program. The Operations & Data Analytics Intern will support the site leadership team by analyzing operational data, engaging with stakeholders, and driving operational improvements. Responsibilities: - Be assigned a specific project aligned with business priorities and your academic background. Develop a structured project plan outlining objectives, milestones, and timelines, with sponsorship from a senior leader - Collect, clean, and analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making - Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality to evaluate processes and recommend data-driven improvements - Engage with key stakeholders to understand project scope and business challenges. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams - Prepare and deliver a formal presentation to senior management at the conclusion of the internship, summarizing your analysis, recommendations, and measurable impact - Gain exposure to aerospace manufacturing operations while developing technical and professional skills through mentorship and hands-on experience Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize data - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment - A proactive mindset with a desire to drive operational improvement and business impact Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python) Required Skills: Data Analysis, Microsoft Excel, Data Visualization
