Intern - Operations and Analytics at Ontic in Chatsworth, CA

Summary: Ontic is a fast-paced business with ambitious growth plans, seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns for a 12-week internship program focused on operational improvements and data analytics. Interns will work on project-based work, gaining hands-on experience and presenting their findings to senior management. Responsibilities: - Engage with key stakeholders to understand the project scope and underlying problem statement - Conduct research and gather data to support your analysis where necessary - Formulate a project plan including objectives, milestones, and timelines - Analyze data and identify trends or opportunities for improvement where necessary - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement recommendations - Track progress and adjust plans as needed throughout the internship - Prepare and deliver a final presentation to senior leadership outlining your findings, recommendations, and impact Required Qualifications: - Current undergraduate or postgraduate students pursuing degrees in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or related fields - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to take initiative and work independently - Strong organizational and time management skills - Proficiency in Excel and/or data analysis tools is a plus - Must meet export control compliance requirements as a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22.
