They are seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Avionics) Level I to inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and assemble various avionics products while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: - Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair and assemble various avionics products, LRU and sub-components - Be involved with the troubleshooting and repair of CCA/PCB to component level - Complete reports, record keeping and supporting documentation as required - Train and mentor technicians - Comply with internal, external, regulatory and customer requirements - Continuously improve production efficiency and quality to achieve or exceed key metrics - Provide technical support for all aspects of the business as needed - Support license transitions - Manage multiple activities and overall workload while consistently meeting commit dates - Maintain and ensure a clean, safe and compliant work environment - Always practice safety conscious habits - Assist with other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED - The ability to obtain a FAA Repairman certificate - Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex electronic and electromechanical systems and components - Proficient in the set up and operation of electronic test equipment – Oscilloscope, DMM, Frequency generator, photometer, spectrum analyzer etc - IPC-J-STD-001 Solder Certification (or ability to become certified) - Proficient in reading, interpreting and understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, component maintenance manuals (CMM) and other technical data as needed - Understanding of basic electrical theory - Ability to use basic precision measuring equipment - Ability to use PC applications and ERP systems - Knowledge and understanding of 14 CFR part 145 regulations Preferred Qualifications: - associate's degree in related field - 1+ years of experience as an electronics repair technician in an aerospace environment performing troubleshooting and repair with component replacement and soldering Required Skills: FAA Repairman certificate, Electronics repair, Soldering, IPC-J-STD-001 Solder Certification, Electrical wiring diagrams, Schematics interpretation, Component maintenance manuals, Electrical theory, Electronic test equipment, Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter (DMM), Frequency generator, Photometer, Spectrum analyzer, Precision measuring equipment, PC applications, ERP systems, 14 CFR part 145 regulations, Avionics maintenance, Circuit card assembly (CCA) repair, Printed circuit board (PCB) repair, Troubleshooting, Analytical skills Benefits: Comprehensive medical insurance, Competitive PTO, holiday pay, and sick leave, Company 401K plan with up to 4% matched contribution, Annual bonus program (varies by level and discretionary based on company and individual performance), Flexible working arrangements, Paid volunteering opportunities, Access to mental health champions across our sites, Commitment to development, Employee referral program
