Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional SENDCo to join our Ridgeway Campus on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, highly motivated and inspirational practitioner who is passionate about ensuring every student can thrive, achieve their potential, and access an outstanding educational experience. As SENDCo, you will provide strategic leadership for SEND provision across the campus, ensuring the highest standards of support, intervention and inclusion in line with OneSchool Global's Student Support Policy. The successful candidate will have extensive experience supporting students with a broad range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, social communication differences, physical disabilities, dyslexia, and other specific learning difficulties. You will be confident in developing bespoke support strategies and personalised learning pathways for students working significantly below age-related expectations, helping them to achieve meaningful progress and success. Skills & Experience The successful candidate will preferably:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess the NASENCO or NPQSENCO qualification, with a minimum of three years' teaching experience. Have substantial experience working with students with autism, ADHD, social communication needs, physical disabilities, dyslexia, and a wide range of learning difficulties. Demonstrate experience supporting students across multiple Key Stages, including those requiring highly personalised or significantly adapted curricula. Have a proven track record of leading, developing and line-managing teaching assistants, promoting high standards of practice and professional development. Be an excellent classroom practitioner who models inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning. Have experience observing lessons and providing constructive coaching and guidance to colleagues to strengthen classroom practice and SEND provision. Be skilled in planning, implementing and evaluating targeted interventions that improve student outcomes. Possess strong knowledge of Access Arrangements, including assessment processes, evidence gathering and collaboration with external agencies and professionals. Be able to lead strategically, shaping and driving an ambitious vision for SEND provision across the campus. Demonstrate a commitment to raising achievement for students with SEND through high expectations, effective systems and a student-centred approach.
