What to expect
The Senior Digital Planner Buyer will work hand-in-hand with the Digital Lead, along with other ad operations specialists in managing all digital requirements of the unit.
Overview of the role
- Expected to build strong and long-term client relationships and maintain frequent contact
- Lead use of digital tools/software and identify necessary additional tools needed to upgrade brands’ strategy and performance
- Presents knowledgeably digital media reviews, including position papers on the following: latest online media trends, competitive situation online, online consumer behavior and media habits, future scenarios online
- Reports directly to the Digital Lead of OMG PH and submits digital spend tracking Digital Media Responsibilities
- Create media strategies independently to help clients achieve their performance marketing goals using various channels such as search, paid social, and programmatic.
- Take ownership of client relationships and communication for daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
- Manage relationships with local suppliers, including ad networks and publishers, to negotiate rates and oversee campaign delivery and results.
- Supervise the entire process of delivering paid media programs, from creating briefs to execution, and defining key performance metrics.
- Take the lead in planning and buying paid media.
- Proficiently use Meta/TikTok Ads Manager, Google AdWords, DV360, and Tradedesk.
- Work effectively across integrated digital marketing campaigns, which may require collaboration across programmatic and social platforms.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in paid media, both programmatic and social.
- Manage and optimize digital campaigns across all media platforms.
- Analyze campaigns, gather insights, and explore new growth platforms using tools.
Account Management Responsibilities
- Plan deliveries and proper cascade to partners and interactive agencies of record the following:
a. all on-going projects, including timelines, budgets, and invoices
b. monitoring of annual digital trends and on-going analysis of online consumer attitudes
and behavior
c. assist Accounts team in status meetings and reviews with clients and internal teams
d. provides directions in acquiring online competitive scans, analyses, and subsequent
quarterly updates
e. contribute in-depth analysis via presentations and written reports on key online competitor activities
- Accurately manage and track client’s budget by providing accurate and timely monthly billing book and accrual reports, takes all reasonable precautions to guard against any loss to the client through the failure of suppliers to execute their commitments properly
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of three (5) years of experience in digital media planning and buying.
- Ability to develop effective media recommendations for digital platforms and communicate them clearly to clients.
- Capable of providing guidance to clients and colleagues on the technical aspects of\ performance planning and buying.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing Paid Social, Programmatic, or Search (such as Facebook and Google Ads).
- Able to share insights from previous campaigns and provide advice to clients while setting benchmarks.
- Collaborate with the team to expand the digital client portfolio while ensuring all requirements are met satisfactorily.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn new skills, proactive, and takes ownership of assigned tasks.
