Job Description
Summary: Olema Oncology is dedicated to developing better medicines for breast cancer and beyond. The IT Intern will support Digital Workplace experience, IT Asset Management and Cybersecurity initiatives while assisting with day-to-day IT operations, gaining hands-on experience in the biotech industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with hardware and software setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and employee support
- Support the IT ticketing system by responding to and documenting requests
- Document IT procedures and update the knowledge base articles
- Maintain and validate hardware and software inventory records
- Support asset lifecycle processes, including deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning
- Support software license tracking and reporting efforts
- Contribute to improving asset management workflows and documentation
- Assist in monitoring and reviewing security alerts
- Support vulnerability tracking and remediation of vulnerable endpoints
- Assist with endpoint security enforcement and configuration management initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program or 2026 graduate
- Currently a standing junior or senior
- Currently majoring in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of networks, operating systems, and security tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 20lbs) as needed
