Job Description
Summary: Old Republic Title is a company that specializes in real estate services, and they are seeking a Recording Document Specialist. The role involves the examination, preparation, and submission of real estate documents on behalf of clients, along with other related tasks such as researching County indexes and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Examining documents for specified requirements
- Researching online County indexes
- Tracking communication and modifications to Real Estate documents
- Basic accounting and reconciliation of fees paid for daily work
- Regular consistent attendance is required
- Ability to work a specified schedule anytime from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Monday through Friday
- Must be personable, positive and a professional representative of the Company
- Ability to accept supervision
- Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors
- Be the first point of contact for client inquires and questions that may arise
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person
- Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle large volumes of work with tight deadlines
- Regular consistent attendance is required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of real estate documents, title insurance, or escrow functions is strongly preferred
