Job Description
OGD Overhead Garage Door is a nationwide overhead door and dock company that is changing the way garage door companies do business. With our training facility in Fort Worth, TX — and our dedication to growth and innovation — OGD has been named one of the best companies to work for across the country. For over a decade, we’ve delivered superior service to residential and commercial customers nationwide.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven sales professional to lead sales for our B2B door and dock equipment business. This role is built for someone who already knows the industry cold — commercial doors, dock levelers, dock seals/shelters, vehicle restraints, and related building products — and can speak fluently to service, repair, and replacement needs without a learning curve. You'll own the full customer lifecycle from first contact through close, managing a high volume of warm leads and existing accounts with the judgment and polish of a seasoned sales veteran. There is no separate outside sales team supporting this role — you are the primary point of contact and the deal-closer.
Responsibilities:
- Own B2B sales calls and emails end-to-end, quickly diagnosing customer needs and identifying the right repair, replacement, or upgrade solution
- Drive revenue growth by deepening relationships with existing accounts and converting warm leads into long-term customers
- Build accurate, competitively-positioned quotes and proposals for repairs, replacement parts, equipment upgrades, and preventive maintenance agreements — including more complex, multi-line or negotiated deals
- Manage the full order lifecycle from quote to fulfillment, ensuring precision on specs, pricing, and delivery commitments
- Serve as a trusted advisor to facility managers, property managers, and other decision-makers across a portfolio of commercial accounts
- Proactively follow up on open quotes and pipeline, applying strong closing skills to maximize conversion
- Maintain clean, disciplined CRM/service management records reflecting all customer interactions, quotes, and orders
- Take ownership of resolving escalated customer issues related to orders, product fit, or service scheduling — with the credibility to de-escalate and retain the account
- Serve as a resource for best practices and product knowledge within the sales team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven sales experience in door and dock equipment (commercial doors, dock levelers, dock seals/shelters, vehicle restraints, or related building products) required
- Established track record working with manufacturers or distributors of overhead doors, dock equipment, or loading dock systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume book of accounts and pipeline with minimal oversight
- Strong consultative and negotiation skills, with the confidence to manage complex or high-value quotes independently
- Excellent phone, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the polish to represent the company to senior facility and property management decision-makers
- Highly organized, with a proven ability to juggle multiple active quotes and orders without dropping details
- Experience using ServiceTitan strongly preferred
- Self-directed and comfortable operating as the primary owner of the customer relationship in a fast-paced sales environment
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM availability
Salary: Uncapped 5% commission on revenue in addition to a $1,500 weekly draw
