The Auxiliary General – Transport (CD_TRANSPORTES) supports the logistics team at Office Depot de México, ensuring efficient route scheduling, documentation handling, cargo loading/unloading, incident tracking, and data reporting. This role contributes to smooth transportation operations within the 14 Generales e Intendencia department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in programming and monitoring transportation routes
• Manage and deliver required documentation for shipments
• Record and capture vehicle and cargo information in company systems
• Support loading, unloading, and proper placement of merchandise
• Monitor and follow up on transport incidents and irregularities
• Generate daily/weekly reports and maintain databases
• Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries
• Verify compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Perform inventory checks related to transport activities
• Provide administrative support to the logistics team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or transport studies preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse support
• Basic knowledge of route planning and transport documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack) is a plus
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle physical tasks
• Attention to detail and problem-solving orientation
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
