Roles and responsibilities

• Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders.
• Responsible for stock loading & unloading.
• Inspects items, as to quality and quantity, against freight documents.
• Opens, timestamps, separates, and distributes incoming mail in a mail/stores room.
• Counts, weighs, and measures goods received or issued.
• Stocks materials according to a prescribed inventory system.
• Dispenses items and posts amounts of items to inventory control cards or automated systems.
• May enter data and edit stock orders in a computerized inventory system, if available.
• Participates in physical inventories by counting stock.
• May assist in training lower-level workers.
• Performs related work appropriate to the classification as assigned
• Assigns work to helpers and assistants and reviews work for accuracy.
• To raise purchase requisition for consumable requirements for production team and maintain the tracker for the same by min-max planning
• Responsible for discrepancy analysis and reporting to supplier.
• Responsible for creating move orders and transact move orders.
• Responsible for preparation of incoming inspection report.
• To issue material from inventory as per production requirement.
• To conduct weekly, monthly stock audits of high level item and report the status to concerned manager.
• To verify the material delivered are meeting with LPO both in terms of price and quality.
• Stock aging and FG Stock report preparation and initiate with concerned team to reduce the aging bucket

Must have skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 6+ years of exp. in Warehouse Management within a Production or Manufacturing set up
