Quality Engineer - Water Infra at Oasis… · Dubai

We are seeking a highly disciplined and technical Quality Engineer to ensure the excellence and integrity of our water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) lifecycle for civil, mechanical, and process water systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work—from concrete foundations to complex piping networks—meets client specifications, regulatory standards, and environmental safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in accordance with ISO 9001 and company standards.
• Create and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for civil works, piping, and equipment installation.
• Ensure all subcontractors and suppliers adhere to the project’s technical specifications and quality requirements.

2. Site Inspection & Testing

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design drawings and standards (e.g., AWWA, ASME, ASTM, ACI).
• Oversee critical water infra activities, including:
• Hydro-static testing of pipelines and pressure vessels.
• Concrete pouring and curing for tanks and reservoirs.
• Welding inspections for steel pipes (NDT coordination).
• Leak testing of valves, pumps, and distribution networks.
• Monitor incoming material inspections to ensure raw materials (pipes, fittings, aggregates) meet approved submittals.

3. Compliance & Documentation

• Manage the issuance and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs). perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records, including checklists, test reports, calibration certificates, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations (e.g., EPA guidelines) regarding water safety and construction runoff.

4. Handover & Commissioning

• Participate in the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of Water Treatment Plants (WTP) or Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
• Prepare punch lists during the walk-through process and verify the rectification of defects.
• Compile the final Data Dossier and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for client handover.
