The Planning Engineer – MEP is responsible for developing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of MEP works in line with the overall project timeline. The role involves planning, tracking progress, and supporting management in decision-making through accurate reporting and forecasting.

• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP works using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Coordinate with MEP design, procurement, and execution teams to align project timelines.
• Integrate MEP activities into the main construction schedule and track progress.
• Identify potential delays or risks and propose mitigation plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor project milestones, prepare look-ahead schedules, and report weekly/monthly progress.
• Collaborate with site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to gather inputs and update schedules.
• Analyze deviations from the baseline schedule and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the planning team with resource loading, productivity tracking, and earned value analysis.
• Assist in preparing progress reports for clients and internal management.
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss progress and planning issues.
