Position: Mechanical Draughtsman Location: OCC – Al Quoz, Dubai Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC coil drawing and drafting Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

Job Summary;

The Mechanical Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed HVAC coil drawings and 3D models based on OEM/Customer-approved technical information. The role requires strong proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD tools to prepare accurate coil drawings, bills of material, and related technical documents. The draughtsman will closely support the Design and R&D team, ensuring that drawings are aligned with manufacturing capabilities and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities;

· Prepare 2D and 3D coil drawings and models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

· Convert approved customer/OEM technical information into production-ready coil drawings.

· Generate detailed fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and technical documentation.

· Coordinate with Design Engineers and Production teams to incorporate design changes.

· Ensure drawing accuracy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to company standards.

· Maintain and update drawing records, revisions, and technical libraries.

· Support pre-sales and post-sales activities by providing drawing assistance as needed.

Skills & Competencies;

· Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modelling) and AutoCAD.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC coil design and drafting practices.

· Ability to read, interpret, and translate technical specifications into drawings.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

· Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications;

· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

· Hands-on experience in HVAC coil drawing preparation.

· Familiarity with the manufacturing processes of HVAC coils.
