Job Description
Roles and responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining books of accounts accurately by ensuring proper accrual of expenses, recognition of revenue.
- Responsible for reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
- Responsible for sending daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly MIS reports to the Head Office.
- Responsible for preparing financials, monthly MIS and others reports as and when required by Line manager.
- Responsible for customer credit limit review for both existing as well as new customer
- Adhere to the monthly accounts closing checklist for monthly financials & to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Verify and analyze expenses and report any deviations.
- Suggest cost control and reduction measures through proper analysis of expenses.
- Ensure payments are done to Vendors on time including utility bills.
- No complaints and no disconnections of service to happen.
- Trade Finance Management in consultation with the Head office.
- Liaison with the external auditors for finalization of annual financial statements for presentation to the shareholders and with internal auditors for ensuring compliance with the recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS requirements for the books of accounts maintained.
- Any work allotted from time to time to be performed.
- Assist in lead preparation of long-term plans and annual budgets aligned with the overall strategic plan of the underlying businesses.
- Help the senior leadership team in defining actional KPIs and support the operations team in meeting them.
- Work closely with the Operations Teams and track progress of significant projects and provide insight based on financial analysis and information from ground.
- Keep a keen eye on financial and operational risk associated with the key projects and highlight them to the management teams with recommendations, if any
