Key Responsibilities:

• System Selection: Select appropriate HVAC equipment (VRF, DX, AHUs, Chiller terminals) based on project requirements using manufacturer software.
• Heat Load Calculation: Perform accurate thermal load cooling calculations to ensure system integrity.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical submittals, compliance statements, and quotations for the sales team.
• Design Support: Utilize AutoCAD to review or draft shop drawings and equipment layouts.
• Product Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for Rheem AC units and Clima Uno products, staying updated on the latest HVAC technologies.
• Value Engineering: Identify opportunities to optimize designs to provide competitive pricing without compromising on quality or performance.

Must have skills:

• Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) for load calculations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design review.
  • Deep understanding of VRF, DX Systems, and AHUs.
• Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines for tender submissions.
• Communication: Fluent in English; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Heat load Calculations & Design in case of schedule not provided by the customer.
• Equipment selection / Cost Estimation / Quotation
• Follow up on Quotation.
• Preparing Technical Submittal.
• Preparation of Order Estimation sheet and getting it approved by Sales Manager/Sr.Manager.
• Preparation of Project file and handing over the file to Sales Coordinator.
• Get the specification from the contractors, based on the customer specification and the equipment schedule select fan models and quote based on price list & Cost Sheet.
• Prepare submittal based on the contract specification and submit to the contractor/ consultant for approval.
• Sending the order acknowledgement to customers.

Qualifications

• Graduation or Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant exp. as an Application Engineer or similar roles
• Understanding of HVAC Systems, Heat Load Calculations, HVAC Design using AutoCAD or similar software
• Experience in Sales support - creating quotations and understanding of commercials
• Understanding of creating Technical submittals based on project specifications
• Good communications skills - written & verbal
