Full-Time Immigration Attorney, Family-based at NYIS Law Firm · Remote

Our Law Firm is dedicated to providing comprehensive legal services, with a primary focus on immigration law. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients, and are seeking an experienced attorney who has abundant work experience in handling family-based immigration petitions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle family-based immigrant visa petitions and ensure an accurate and timely preparation of each case;
• Correspond with potential clients during the intake process and maintain regular communication with existing clients for active cases;
• Correspond with USCIS and other government agencies when necessary;
• Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reopen, Responses to Notices of Intent to Deny;
• Stay current with governmental and regulatory requirements regarding immigration policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with extensive knowledge in family-based immigrant visas.
• Ability to take initiative, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to thoroughness and precision.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a strong plus.

Job Types: Full-Time

Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
