Nyangu is building a more trustworthy rental experience in Nigeria. We are looking for an exceptional writer and content strategist who understands how to make people feel something, question an assumption, and remember what they read.

You will shape Nyangu’s voice across social media, articles, and website content. Your work should speak directly to the realities renters, landlords, and agents face. Some pieces will explain a process clearly. Others will tell a story or make an observation sharp enough to stop someone mid-scroll.

You must also understand how people discover information. You will use SEO and AEO to help Nyangu’s content answer real questions and appear where people search for guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop content ideas grounded in the experiences, questions, and frustrations of Nigerian renters, landlords, and agents.
• Write social posts, articles, website copy, and campaign content with a distinct, credible voice.
• Create thought-provoking content that challenges familiar attitudes about trust, verification, and accountability in renting.
• Research search topics and questions, then turn them into useful content that people want to read and share.
• Apply SEO and AEO principles to content structure, headings, answers, and page updates.
• Build and manage an editorial calendar, taking ideas from research through writing, review, publication, and improvement.
• Work with the design and product teams to ensure words, visuals, and product details tell a consistent story.
• Review content performance and use what you learn to improve future work.
• Check claims and product details carefully. Strong writing must also be accurate.

Skills and Qualifications

• An excellent writer with published work that shows originality, emotional intelligence, and range.
• The ability to write a compelling short post as well as a clear, useful article.
• A strong understanding of SEO and how to write content that responds to search intent.
• Familiarity with AEO and how to structure accurate, useful answers for AI-driven discovery.
• Good research habits and the judgment to distinguish a real insight from an attention-grabbing line.
• An understanding of Nigerian audiences and the ability to write naturally for them without relying on clichés.
• A sense of ownership. You can develop an idea, work through feedback, publish it, and learn from its results.
• The confidence to write boldly while treating people’s experiences with care.
