Research Scientist, AI for Science at NVIDIA in US, CA, Santa Clara

Summary: NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding AI researcher to join the learning and perception research team. The role involves researching, designing, and implementing AI methods for science, collaborating with team members, and publishing original research. Responsibilities: - Research, design and implement AI 4 Science methods - Publish original research - Collaborate with other team members and teams on mission-driven research - Mentor interns - Speak at conferences and events - Work with product groups to transfer technology - Collaborate with external researchers Required Qualifications: - A Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. or equivalent experience in industrial or graduate research labs - At least 1+ years of relevant PostDoc or Industry research experience - Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of AI - Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus - Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch - Outstanding research and publication track record - Excellent communications skills Required Skills: AI research, Python, Machine learning frameworks Important Skills: C++ Benefits: Equity, Benefits
