Auxiliar de Calidad - HSE
Location: Queretaro
Asegurar el mantenimiento y mejora de los sistemas de Calidad y HSE aplicables a los almacenes de Torreón y Tepatitlán, mediante una gestión principalmente remota, coordinando a los responsables locales, verificando el cumplimiento de los controles establecidos y escalando oportunamente riesgos o desviaciones. Adicionalmente, coordinar el seguimiento documental y operativo del proyecto de huella de carbono Greenly Alcance 3 de planta Cuernavaca, conforme a la metodología y lineamientos definidos por las áreas responsables.Job Description:
JOB CONTEXT
The Quality & HSE Officer is positioned in the Quality department, reporting to the Quality Manager and working in functional coordination with the relevant HSE stakeholders.
The position is based in Querétaro and provides primarily remote Quality and HSE support to the Torreón and Tepatitlán warehouses. The role coordinates activities with local warehouse responsible persons, verifies implementation through records, evidence, virtual reviews and risk-based visits, and escalates relevant risks or deviations.
The position is also responsible for coordinating the Greenly Scope 3 carbon footprint project for the Civac plant.
The Quality Manager remains accountable for the Quality Management System and Quality performance. HSE accountability remains within the designated HSE management structure.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Quality and HSE Management
o Perform the initial Quality and HSE gap assessment of the Torreón warehouse and coordinate the implementation plan.
o Maintain and improve the Quality and HSE systems at the Tepatitlán warehouse.
o Develop and maintain applicable procedures, instructions, records, matrices and controls in line with Nutrace, legislation, certification standards and customer requirements.
o Coordinate remote follow-up through meetings, evidence reviews, virtual walkthroughs and risk-based on-site visits.
o Provide Quality, feed/food safety and HSE training to warehouse personnel.
Warehouse Quality and Compliance
o Verify compliance with GMP, storage practices and applicable SADER/SENASICA requirements.
o Monitor controls related to identification, segregation, traceability, stock rotation, non-conforming product, returns, pest control and storage conditions.
o Investigate assigned complaints, deviations and Quality issues, coordinate root cause analysis and follow up on CAPA effectiveness.
o Support traceability exercises, withdrawal tests, audits and closure of findings.
o Consolidate Quality and HSE indicators, analyze trends and communicate risks and required actions.
HSE Performance
o Implement and verify controls related to hazard identification, risk assessments, legal requirements, PPE, safety signs, emergency preparedness, waste and contractors.
o Support the investigation of incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and monitor the corresponding corrective actions.
o Escalate conditions that may affect people, product, the environment, regulatory compliance or business continuity.
Greenly – Scope 3
o Coordinate the Greenly Scope 3 work plan, calendar, responsible persons and deliverables for the Civac plant.
o Collect, consolidate and verify traceable data and evidence from the functions and suppliers involved.
o Maintain the supporting documentation and report progress, data gaps, risks and required support.
o Follow up on identified carbon-reduction opportunities and agreed improvement actions.
AUTHORITY AND ESCALATION
The Quality & HSE Officer may request evidence, coordinate assigned activities, document deviations and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
Major risks, overdue actions, incidents with regulatory or customer impact, product release or blocking decisions, formal commitments with authorities or certification bodies, and situations requiring management decisions must be escalated to the Quality Manager and the relevant HSE stakeholder.
