Front Desk Associate Location: Frobisher Inn – Iqaluit, NunavutWage: Starting at $23.00 per hourEmployment Type: Full‑Time and Part‑Time Opportunities Available Position Overview The Frobisher Inn is currently seeking friendly, professional, and service‑driven Front Desk Associates to join our Guest Services team. This role is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key part in delivering a positive and welcoming experience in Nunavut’s capital city. Key Responsibilities

Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner at all times Complete guest check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately and efficiently Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest inquiries using the hotel property management system Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and discretion Process payments, issue receipts, and balance shift transactions Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams Maintain accurate guest records and follow cash‑handling and security procedures Uphold hotel policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations

Qualifications and Requirements

Previous customer service or customer‑facing experience is required Hotel or hospitality experience is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct Comfortable working shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Relocation and Housing

This position requires relocation within Canada. Company‑provided flight relocation is available to employees who agree to a minimum two‑year term of employment Subsidized shared staff housing is available for full‑time employees only, subject to availability
