About the Role:
The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring quality standards of service are met at Fort Cavazos, TX. This position involves conducting thorough final inspections and first article inspections to verify overall compliance with cleaning standards. Maintaining detailed documentation and adhering to quality control protocols are essential to support traceability and continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this role ensures high quality of cleaning standards, safeguarding the company’s reputation and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in quality control inspection within a housekeeping environment
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and optical comparators.
- Strong understanding of inspection processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Quality Control or related fields.
- Experience with document control systems and quality management software.
- Advanced training in inspection techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct QC inspections and audits on contract requirements, and other services performed.
- Prepares reports, develops quality plans, attends meetings as directed; performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Schedules inspection activities.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality control records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform visual inspections to detect safety and quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control procedures during inspection activities.
Skills:
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, Joint Commissioning and safety procedures with skills in conducting accident investigations and safety inspections.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, critical thinking skills, and proficiency with standard testing tools.
- ISO Lead Auditor Certification with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Knowledge of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice regulations and codes.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
