Job Description
The Centre for Health, Culture, and Society (CHCS) at NTU CoHASS is a new interdisciplinary and cross-sector research hub working at the intersection of health, culture, and society. The Centre pursues research across five thematic strands, operates a taught Masters programme, runs an active programme of conferences, seminars, and workshops and maintains strong partnerships with major Singapore hospitals and arts organisations.
We are seeking a Project Officer to provide essential administrative, financial, and operational support to the Director and the Centre's research and teaching activities. This is a broad and varied role at the heart of a growing, dynamic research centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and Centre staff.
- Manage budgets and financial administration across all Centre projects and funding streams.
- Support grant application preparation and post-award compliance.
- Coordinate the Centre's full events programme, including conferences, seminars, and healthcare workshops.
- Manage Centre communications, website, and records.
- Liaise with NTU administrative offices and external partners on behalf of the Centre.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience in an administrative or project coordination role.
- Experience in financial administration and budget tracking.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with grant management or university administrative systems is an advantage.
- An interest in the Centre's interdisciplinary mission is desirable.
