Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Civil-QS & Billing Professional to manage quantity verification, contractor billing, budgeting, cost control, and contract compliance for a commercial building construction project. The role involves preparing accurate quantities, validating contractor claims, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring timely financial reporting and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and verify quantities for civil, architectural, MEP, and faade works.
2. Review and certify contractor bills, RA bills, measurement sheets, and material reconciliation.

3. Coordinate with site teams for joint measurements and physical progress validation.
4. Maintain and update project cost sheets, budgets, and financial trackers.
5. Support procurement and contracts teams in rate analysis and contract finalization.
6. Track variations, prepare deviation statements, and support change order documentation.
7. Ensure all billing documentation, drawings, and approvals are aligned with contract terms.
8. Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and MIS for management.
9. Monitor material consumption and compare with theoretical norms.
10. Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal departments for bill clarifications and closures.
11. Maintain proper records for final settlement and project handover documentation.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, billing procedures, and construction measurement methods.
2. Proficiency in reading drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents.
3. Skilled in Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity measurement tools.
4. Good understanding of commercial building construction and material norms.
5. Strong analytical, documentation, and cost-control abilities.
6. Effective communication and coordination skills with contractors and project teams.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 10 to 15 years of experience in QS, billing, costing, and contracts in commercial or high-rise building projects.
