Job Description

Nova Driving School is seeking passionate, professional, and safety-focused Driving Instructors to join our growing team. This instructor position will primarily serve students in Schaumburg, Illinois, and the surrounding northwest suburban communities, providing high-quality driver education and behind-the-wheel training to teens and adults throughout the area.

As part of the city's #1 driving school, you will play a vital role in helping new drivers develop the skills, confidence, and responsible driving habits needed to navigate today's roadways safely. Instructors will work one-on-one with students from diverse backgrounds, tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs while fostering a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach students safe and lawful driving techniques, including Illinois traffic laws and defensive driving strategies.
• Adapt your teaching style to meet diverse learning needs and comfort levels.
• Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback after each lesson.
• Stay up‑to‑date on current traffic regulations and best practices in driver education.
• Create a positive, supportive, and focused learning environment that builds student confidence.

Requirements

Requirements

• Driver's license of at least 2 years - Current and Valid driver's license should have been issued in the State of Illinois
• No at fault accident in the last 7 years
• Previous experience in driving instruction is preferred but not required
• Above 21 years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent- Must be able to present ORIGINAL diploma or transcripts
