Job Description
The New Business Services Team’s role is to provide all aspects of sales support to financial representatives to ensure that their focus remains on achieving their goals for Qualified Suspects, Fact Finder meetings, and acquiring lives in the timeframes laid out by their Leadership. Ongoing support to continue to build their business and attain periodic awards goals will also be provided. Specific responsibilities include:
Operations Support
- Case notes transferred into CRM
- Manage onboarding and standard business process training for each FR
- Create and maintain compliant client folders in One Drive and Docket
- Creating compliant letters/sending out correspondence and handling incoming/outgoing mail and e-mail
- Front desk backup coverage as needed
- Mail room support including sorting and posting
- Pouch mail sorting and dissemination
Planning, Sales, and Service Support
Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with all Financial Representatives supported
Participate in Development Team meetings to disseminate and gather information for the betterment of the reps and the office
Prepare, or collaborate with others, to develop an integrated package for Financial Representatives to deliver to their clients as part of a pre-sale package
Compile meeting materials needed for the approach, close, delivery and client review
Complete business processing tasks within standardized model to ensure a consistent environment for all advisors and team members to function in
Collect and input client meeting notes
Maintain compliant electronic client files, complaint files
Manage Opportunities from beginning to end, ensure regular updating, task completion, communication (with FR and client) and documentation throughout the process.
Manage underwriting process which includes providing, or collaborating with others to provide:
- Pre-filling applications
- Pre-checking applications for completeness and accuracy
- Submitting applications
- Scheduling requirements and medical exams
- Monitoring of the Daily Status Report (DSR) and take action on cases needing attention
Process, or collaborate with others to open/fund investment accounts and investment service requests such as funds disbursements, account transfers and trade correction requests
Process, or collaborate with others to complete risk product (POS) service requests such as name and address changes, beneficiary changes, updates to Insurance Service Accounts to facilitate the collection of payments, etc.
Prepare and manage client communications
Coach representative towards effectively using their time to build clientele
Provide support and coaching in awards runs (P-40, S-60, Annual, Regional, and other awards as requested) utilizing Awards Run process.
Other projects as assigned
Marketing Support
- Initiate and create feed lists
- Assist with ordering Marketing materials (business cards, stationary, etc.) as requested
- Review Home Office initiated campaigns and guide advisors
Education Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-year associate’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
- Active MN Life, Accident and Health license, or willing to obtain within first 6mos of employment
