Job Description
Summary: Northwest Bank is a trusted financial institution committed to delivering innovative Treasury Management solutions. They are seeking a motivated, data-driven Treasury Management Analyst Intern to gain practical experience in supporting product strategy, market analysis, and the rollout of Treasury Management products.
Responsibilities:
- Support competitive research and benchmarking across Treasury Management products (ACH, wires, remote deposit, fraud mitigation, liquidity solutions)
- Analyze product usage, revenue streams, client segments, and profitability trends
- Assist in developing business cases and financial models for new product features or process improvements
- Contribute to the build‑out and maintenance of line‑of‑business P&Ls and KPI dashboards
- Participate in evaluating client onboarding workflows and recommending process enhancements
- Review product documentation, marketing materials, and training resources for accuracy and clarity
- Shadow TM implementation and support teams to understand end‑to‑end product delivery
- Support product lifecycle documentation, including requirements, feature updates, and testing materials
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for new releases or system enhancements
- Contribute to initiatives related to digital banking modernization, payments innovation, and operational efficiency
- Partner with TM Sales to understand market needs, client use cases, and pain points
- Collaborate with Operations and IT to investigate product‑related issues and track resolution
- Prepare clear, data‑driven presentations and reports for product leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Interest in Treasury Management, commercial payments, deposits, or financial product management
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including comfort working with data
- Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus
