Application Development Internship at Northwell Health in Remote

Summary: Northwell Health is seeking an Application Development Intern to support research and review projects focusing on hospital policies and procedures. The intern will assist in data collection, studies on departmental efficiency, and facilitate new programs or procedures. Responsibilities: - Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department - Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures - Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures - Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field - Experience computer programming experience and education, including understanding of full stack development Preferred Qualifications: - Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting Required Skills: Computer Programming, Full Stack Development, Hospital Operations Benefits: We do not offer a stipend to cover lodging, travel, and meal expenses.
