Job Description
Coordinates diversified clerical duties related to the operational needs of the office/department.
Job Responsibility
- Coordinates diversified medical office front desk duties which may include, but are not limited to: Greeting and checking in patients; Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information; Insurance verification of benefits and eligibility; Answering telephones, taking messages, and routing calls appropriately; Scheduling, confirming, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments; Maintaining provider schedules; Collecting copayments, balances, and other patient payments; Preparing and maintaining patient records; Scanning and filing patient documents; Assisting with patient forms and intake paperwork; Coordinating referrals and authorizations as directed; Communicating with patients, providers, and staff regarding front desk matters; Maintaining department/office files and records; Keeping inventory and ordering office supplies for the department/office; Supporting daily opening and closing front desk procedures;

Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
