Summary: Northrop Grumman is a leading aerospace and defense technology company, and they are seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator to join their team in Tampa, FL. The role involves providing Tier 1 technical support, monitoring and maintaining computer systems, and ensuring effective communication across teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Provide Tier 1 technical support (including Domain Administration, System Administration, and Network Administration) - Monitor and maintain smooth operation of computer systems, applications and user experience - Provide effective communication across multi-functional teams, stakeholders and end users - Other opportunities may include learning new technologies, skill sets, and career advancement Required Qualifications: - Master's Degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of IT experience is required - US Citizenship - Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance to be considered. TS/SCI clearance must be in place by the start date and must stay in place through employment - Must possess a current DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher prior to start date (example: Security+ CE) - Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems - Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems - Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all supported devices, mobile devices, etc - Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and issue resolution - Provides support for the escalation and communication of issue status to program management and end users - Must be able to configure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems upon start date, installs/loads operating system software, patches, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Performs troubleshooting as needed - Configures and manages virtualized environments, virtual networking and storage solutions Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with on-premise environments - Administration of virtualization environments using technologies such as vCenter, ESXi, storage provisioning, including the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of virtual servers and workstations - Experience with multiple Linux distributions.
