Sales Representative

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Sales Representative — Charlotte, NC

Build something. Make great money. Grow with us.

Northline Roofing is a Charlotte-based roofing company built for people who want more than just another sales job.

We started in 2017 with a simple idea: do great work, take care of people, and build a company we're proud of.Now we're investing heavily in growing the Northline brand across Charlotte—and we're looking for ambitious salespeople who want to grow with us.

You don't need to be a roofing expert. You do need to be competitive, personable, coachable, and hungry to build a career.

We're Building the Demand. You Close It.

We're not hiring you, handing you a clipboard, and telling you to figure it out.

Northline is investing in digital advertising, social media, local content, community partnerships, events, referrals, and brand marketing designed to put qualified homeowners on your calendar.

Your job? Show up prepared, build trust, provide an incredible experience, and close.

You'll also have the opportunity to create your own business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationships throughout Charlotte—the more opportunities you create, the more you can earn.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll be the face of Northline for homeowners across Charlotte.

You'll meet with customers, inspect their roofs, help them understand their options, build a solution, and close the deal.

Some days you'll have multiple appointments already waiting on your calendar. Other days you'll be networking, building referral relationships, following up with opportunities, or getting out into the Charlotte community.

Think relationship-driven sales, not cheesy door-to-door roofing guy.

You'll:

• Run multiple homeowner appointments each day
• Perform roof inspections and walk customers through what you find
• Build quotes and present roofing options
• Close deals and earn commission
• Follow up with leads and manage your pipeline
• Generate additional business through referrals, networking, and prospecting
• Build relationships with homeowners and professionals throughout Charlotte
• Stay involved with your customers from the first conversation through installation

Who We're Looking For

This could be a great fit if you're the person who:

Hates the idea of sitting behind a desk all day.

You like meeting people, being out in the city, and having every day look a little different.

Wants your income tied to your performance.

You're competitive. You like winning. And the idea of uncapped commission sounds a lot better than waiting around for a 3% annual raise.

Can talk to anyone.

Homeowners, business owners, real estate agents, contractors—you know how to walk into a room, build trust, and have a real conversation.

Wants to get in early.

We're building something much bigger than a roofing company. As Northline grows into new markets, we want our future leaders to come from the people who helped build it.

What You Get

• Uncapped commission
• Company-generated appointments driven by our growing marketing engine
• Significant investment in digital advertising, content, social media, and local brand awareness
• Opportunity to generate additional self-sourced business
• Hands-on sales and roofing training
• Technology and tools to run your pipeline
• A growing Charlotte-based brand behind you
• Clear opportunities to move into leadership as we scale
• A young, ambitious team that actually enjoys working together
• The chance to build a real career—not just take another sales job

The Basics

You'll need:

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• U.S. work authorization
• Ability to pass a background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfort climbing ladders and inspecting roofs
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Basic comfort with technology, CRMs, and Google Workspace

Previous sales experience is great, but we're more interested in drive, personality, discipline, and coachability.
