Summary: North West Rubber Group is seeking Engineering Interns to assist with engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and operational targets. The role will provide recent graduates with experience in manufacturing principles, quality, and operational standards. Responsibilities: - Department Support: Jump into any area (Production, Quality, or Shipping) that needs help for the day - Problem Solving: Use your engineering background to reduce waste and make our mat-making process faster and better - Admin Tasks: Help the Plant Manager with the "paperwork" side of things—this includes data entry, updating safety logs, and organizing shift schedules - Standardizing: Write down simple instructions (SOPs) for the team so everyone knows how to run the machines correctly - Project Tracking: Keep track of daily production numbers and report them back to the Plant Manager Required Qualifications: - Relevant degree such as bachelor's degree in engineering - Strong analytical and computer skills - Intermediately level MS Excel - Problem Solving skills - Able to work autonomously and together in a team dynamic - Good communication skills - Demonstrated ability to work in a manufacturing environment utilizing critical thinking skills Required Skills: Manufacturing, MS Excel
