Summary: North State Grocery, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to provide exceptional customer service and assist with meat processing tasks. The role involves responsibilities such as meat cutting, wrapping, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness in the deli area while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- World Famous Friendly Customer service
- Report to work on time as scheduled, in proper work attire, prepared for their full shift
- Meat cutting (will train)
- Meat wrapping
- Working Deli
- Receiving product
- Clean-up and sanitation
- Following safety standards & required operating procedures
- Stocking meat counter
- Putting product away in cooler and freezer
- Learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures
- Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook

Required Qualifications:
- World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members
- Ability to work as part of a 'team' atmosphere
- Ability to read & understand written instructions
- Ability to read case labels
- Understanding of basic math calculations
- Ability to manage time effectively & multitask with a sense of urgency
- Ability to learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80 pounds on a regular basis
- Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis
