Summary: Nordstrom is a leading fashion retailer, and they are seeking a Beauty Concierge to join their Nordstrom Rack team. The role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, ensuring a clean store environment, and assisting customers with various transactions. Responsibilities: - Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays "runway ready", and is sized and filled in through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day - Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in-store, online and mobile), which includes operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items of all size, handling bulky sometimes heavy items including boxes, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience - Create a smooth fitting room experience when supporting as a fitting room attendant by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor - Create a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor - Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed - Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment - Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards - Promote initiatives like our Nordstrom Rewards program Required Qualifications: - Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills - Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership - Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs - Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers - Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling - Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head - Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds Required Skills: Point-of-sale system operation, Merchandise ticketing, Stockroom organization Benefits: Medical/Vision, Dental, Retirement and Paid Time Away, Life Insurance and Disability, Merchandise Discount and EAP Resources, 401k, Medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays
