Head of Statutory Reporting and Consolidation at Nordic… · Vasteras

Nordic Investin is recruiting a Head of Statutory Reporting and Consolidation on behalf of one of our partner companies. You see finance as both a decision and control function, combining accuracy with the curiosity to turn numbers into action.

The partner is strengthening its capability in statutory reporting and group consolidation across multiple entities. You will take responsibility for work that connects consolidation, IFRS and statutory accounts, while ensuring that audit and controls receive appropriate discipline. The objective is progress that colleagues can use and leaders can evaluate.

Finance values dependable reporting, strong controls and constructive partnership. Success means better decisions, fewer surprises and trusted information.

How you will work

You will combine leadership of the finance agenda with direct engagement in important decisions and exceptions. The partner expects clear standards, useful challenge and enough technical depth to support the team when judgement is required. Improvement must strengthen both control and service.

This role calls for visible leadership and disciplined decision making. You will be expected to recognise when a decision needs wider expertise, make trade-offs visible and move work forward without creating unnecessary process.

What you will do

• Own the practical direction for statutory reporting and group consolidation across multiple entities.

• Translate goals and constraints into a clear approach for consolidation and IFRS.

• Establish useful standards, routines or artefacts around statutory accounts.

• Coordinate stakeholders and dependencies affecting audit.

• Use evidence and measurable outcomes to improve controls.

• Strengthen knowledge sharing, decision quality and sustainable ownership across the team.

What you will bring

• Relevant experience delivering statutory reporting and group consolidation across multiple entities in a demanding environment.

• Strong working knowledge of consolidation and IFRS.

• Practical experience applying statutory accounts and audit.

• Ability to assess risk, priorities and trade-offs involving controls.

• Evidence of clear stakeholder communication and dependable end-to-end ownership.

• Professional English and the judgement to work with sensitive or business-critical information.

Experience that would add value

• Experience from international groups or listed-company environments.

• Exposure to team leadership in a cross-functional environment.

• Swedish language skills or experience working across Nordic organisations.

A background that can succeed here

Your background may be group finance, operations, audit, advisory or a growing business. Show the controls and decisions you owned and the outcome. Direct experience of statutory reporting and group consolidation across multiple entities is valuable, while adjacent experience counts when it shows transferable judgement.

What makes the opportunity interesting

The role combines professional depth with meaningful business questions and room to improve the processes behind the numbers. The focus on statutory reporting and group consolidation across multiple entities gives the role a clear mission and room to influence priorities and measures of success.

The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the opportunity before asking you to make a decision.

The recruitment conversation

Nordic Investin will focus on decisions you have made: the context, alternatives, result and what you would change today. You will also have room to test whether the role and partner environment are right for you.
