Position: Engineering Lab Technician Co-op/Intern
Number of Position(s): 1
Duration: 4 months
Date: Sept – Dec 2026
Location: Onsite, Ottawa Campus
EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently in the final years of a Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Computer Systems Technician, or a related field, at an accredited institution in Canada.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Work with new products and technologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug node configurations.
- The software installs, system configurations restore and backing up databases.
- Troubleshoot and upgrade cards.
- Installation and configuration of new equipment into existing networks.
Qualifications
You have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively with others.
- The candidate must be able to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of IP networking, familiar with networking concepts.
- Familiar or proficient with UNIX and LINUX.
- Scripting languages (i.e., PERL).
