Job Description
Summary: Nissha Medical Technologies – New Richmond is home to the Isometric Micro Molding Center of Excellence, where highly skilled teams solve challenging manufacturing problems in medical technology. The Tool Maker Intern will assist in mold assembly, learn CAD interpretation, and collaborate with manufacturing teams while maintaining efficiency and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist all departments within operations in mold assembly / disassembly, machining, EDM and polishing
- Learn to read and interpret CAD models, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Perform basic tasks under supervision
- Assist in cleaning, organizing, and staging tooling components
- Develop understanding of mold components, functions, and build processes
- Assist in transporting materials and components between departments
- Observe and learn mold manufacturing processes, material behavior, and production workflows
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on tasks
- Complete assigned tasks within expected timelines
- Maintain accurate records of work performed as directed
- Follow standardized processes and work instructions closely
