Nissan of Hendersonville is looking for an experienced, driven Automotive Detail Manager to take ownership of our detail department.

We need a leader who understands that the detail department plays a major role in the customer experience. Whether it's a brand-new Nissan being delivered, a pre-owned vehicle being prepared for the lot, or a customer's vehicle being serviced, the finished product needs to look exceptional and be ready on time.

This is not a position for someone who wants to stand on the sidelines. We are looking for a hands-on manager who sets the pace, holds people accountable, and makes sure the job gets done right the first time.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Lead, schedule, train, and motivate the detail team
• Manage the daily flow of new, used, service, and sold vehicles through the department
• Ensure vehicles are completed on time and to dealership standards
• Inspect completed vehicles for quality before they are released
• Coordinate with Sales, Used Cars, Service, and management to prioritize vehicles
• Maintain appropriate staffing and productivity levels
• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance
• Monitor supplies, chemicals, equipment, and department expenses
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Identify bottlenecks and improve processes to increase speed and efficiency
• Step in and help the team when necessary
• Protect dealership vehicles and ensure proper handling of customer vehicles

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate:

• Has automotive detailing experience; leadership experience is strongly preferred
• Knows what a properly detailed vehicle should look like and won't accept shortcuts
• Can manage multiple vehicles and changing priorities in a fast-paced dealership
• Communicates well with managers and employees
• Has strong organizational and time-management skills
• Holds employees accountable while building a strong team
• Understands that speed matters, but quality cannot suffer
• Takes pride in maintaining a professional department
• Is dependable and ready to lead by example
• Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
