Job Description
Role & responsibilities
• Develop, review, and validate signalling design documents including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), Interlocking (IXL) designs, track bonding plans, and control tables.
• Manage technical interfaces between signalling systems, Rolling Stock, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Telecommunications, and trackside equipment.
• Ensure compliance with SIL-4 safety requirements and RAMS targets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with General Consultants (GCs), Design-Build Contractors, Metro Authorities, and project stakeholders for design approvals and technical clarifications.
• Support test procedures, signalling data preparation, verification activities, and commissioning of mainline and depot signalling systems.
• Assist in managing engineering deliverables, design reviews, and technical issue resolution.
Preferred candidate profile
• 1520+ years of experience in Railway/Metro Signalling projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CBTC, Electronic Interlocking (EI), or interlocking design management.
• Experience in Urban Rail or Metro Railway projects is preferred.
