QUALITY ASSURANCE -PRODUCE SUPERVISOR Regular Full Time · Location: Salt Lake City, UT, US Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Supervisor We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Inventory Control Department as an Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Supervisor. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures. Pay: Negotiable  Responsibilities:  • Improving processes. • Inventory Management. • Coordination of Quality Assurance Activities. • Quality Assurance of inbound and outbound produce. • Determine produce quality trends related to customers and product patterns. • Inspect returned product – determine the quality, condition, and acceptable shelf life of product. • Partner with Safety Department to champion Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures. • Provide leadership while working closely with Quality Assurance team members to achieve departmental goals. • Checking quality of existing perishables in stock – daily inspection of product in pick location for quality, condition, and shelf life. • Quality check of inbound and outbound produce – acceptable temperatures, product conditions, product quality and product sizing. • Communicate with Inventory and Purchasing departments regarding relevant information on all product received pertaining to quality and quantity. Required: • At least 2 years of previous Supervisory/Management experience. • Previous experience in foodservice. • Previous electrical pallet jack experience. • Previous experience working with produce. • Detail oriented and self-motivated. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and tablet use. • Ability to make timely decisions using sound judgment.  • Must be able to cover all shifts including Saturdays as needed. • Ability to work in a variety of temperatures (freezer, cooler, dry). • Able to communicate and coordinate with others as a team player.
