Responsibilities: - Work with engineers and product teams to design and build features for our financial crime prevention platform - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in a collaborative environment - Use modern developer tools, including generative AI assistants, to improve productivity and code quality - Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging - Analyze data and help improve detection logic or system performance - Contribute ideas toward applying AI/ML (including generative AI) to real-world fraud detection problems Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field - Completed at least 2 years of coursework (rising junior or above) - Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design - Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) - Must be based in or able to work from the California Bay Area during the internship period Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) - Exposure to backend development, APIs, or distributed systems - Interest in AI/ML or generative AI applications - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Required Skills: Data structures, Algorithms, Software design, Java, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Backend development, APIs, Distributed systems, Git
