About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and full-stack applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, hands-on experience with cloud platforms and event-driven architecture, and the ability to contribute to frontend development as needed.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices using Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot
• Implement event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging using Apache Kafka
• Build, deploy, and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React or Angular
• Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries in Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
• Work with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra) for specific use cases requiring flexible data models
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs across services
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
• Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Experience with React or Angular for frontend development
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of REST API design principles
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
